Oris has won a 2007 World Prestigious Brand Award in a huge poll of Korean consumers.

Thousands of consumers made a shortlist from a selection of brands promoted worldwide, choosing Oris as the most famous watch brand. The list of winners was then put together by The Committee of Worldwide Brands comprising 63 specialists in various fields.

Consumers and the jury acknowledged that Oris is the leading watch brand at entry level of the luxury products. Focused brand building together with excellent product families such as Big Crown celebrating aviation, the Oris Williams collection supported by the sponsorship of the Williams F1 Team, and divers’ watches made for the free-diving world champion Carlos Coste led to Oris being voted the best brand in the watch section.

Other winners at the event, organised by the Committee of Worldwide Brands and the Committee of Luxury Goods Importers, included Mercedes Benz, Burberry, and Christian Dior.
