Ringing in the changes with the Artelier Alarm

06.11.2009 - Ringing in the changes with the Artelier Alarm

The beautiful craftsmanship and elegant but practical appearance of the Oris Artelier Alarm made it an instant classic when it was launched in 2008. For 2009 two new models house the same Swiss made movement with the innovative Oris sound spring.

The 'sound spring' was developed by Oris’ technical team to make the clear ringing tone of the Artelier Alarm possible. This tiny component has helped to make this watch one of the most popular in Oris’ recent history.

For 2009 the new bi-colour version of the Artelier Alarm features an 18k rose gold top ring, which emphasises the applied rose gold hands and indices. The all silver model has a stainless steel top ring and silver coloured hands and indices. It’s perfect for men of steel.

Oris made its name in the 1940s with alarm clocks. The designers and watchmakers called upon past experience to create a modern classic – now in three different colour combinations.
