The Oris Jazz watch Charlie Parker Limited Edition 2003.
Charlie Parker was ahead of his time. He was born in 1920 in Kansas, USA, but grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, where he was exposed to many musical influences. He first found fame with traditional jazz, though in the early forties he collaborated with Dizzy Gillespie, resulting in bebop. His virtuoso style and revolutionary harmonies inspired a generation of saxophonists. He died in 1955.
In 2003 Oris launched the Charlie Parker Limited Edition watch, limited to 1355 units. One because Charlie was number one in modern jazz, 35 for the birthday he never reached, and 55 to represent the year of his death.
