Oris has a long and proud history of both sponsoring and being inspired by Formula One. We are longtime partners of the successful Williams F1 Team. The Oris Logo is always part of the race on the car, the race-drivers clothing and the whole Williams F1 Team.

Previous drivers include Nico Hülkenberg as well as Nico Rosberg, who first became an Oris ambassador in 2006 – even meriting his own limited edition watch. He was partnered during the 2008 and 2009 seasons by Kazuki Nakajima who also inspired his own limited edition Oris. They were preceded by Mark Webber in 2005 and Ralf Schumacher in 2004. The successful partnership with Williams first began in 2003. A year before this Oris sponsored Toyota driver Allan McNish.

From 2014, Oris extend its presence in Motor Sport be entering a partnership with the Audi Sport Team.
This partnership secures Oris as the Official Watch Partner of this world-renowned premium car manufacturer's WEC and DTM teams.

But Oris’ passion for Motor Sport started way back in the 1970s with the famous Chronoris, which first captured the true spirit of Formula One.
