After a three week break in the race calendar, it’s time for our Formula One partner, AT&T Williams, to head back to the track and go racing. This weekend’s destination is the Nürburgring in Germany, where the German fans are renowned for their enthusiasm.

Nico: “The FW31 has been very consistent and relatively quick on every track this year so I have high hopes that we can continue our good form. Going to Germany is a bit special for me as it’s my home Grand Prix and the circuit is the one that I know the best. Racing in front of your home crowd is a real buzz and there’ll be a good atmosphere.”

Kazuki: “I haven’t raced a Formula One car around the Nürburgring, only a GP2 car, but I had a good race then so I hope that experience will help me. I’ve also done lots of laps on the simulator, so I hope I’m well prepared. The German fans are really passionate, but I think this year they will be more so because of Vettel and Nico who are doing a great job.”

Track facts
The Nürburgring last appeared on the Grand Prix calendar in 2007 and is a relatively simple circuit for drivers with its mix of low and medium speed corners. However, the notoriously unpredictable weather can make things more challenging. In 2007 the race had to be suspended minutes after the start due to torrential rain! Anything could happen and it’s a race not to be missed!

As ever, Oris wishes the team and the drivers all the very best for the race on Sunday.
