Darryl O’Young is one of the world’s most successful Chinese motor racing drivers. Born in Vancouver, Canada in 1980 he began racing go-karts aged eight. He later raced with Formula Ford and Formula Renault in the USA before making the switch to GT cars and competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. In 2008 he won the Macau Grand Prix for the third time. In 2009 he became the first Chinese racing driver to compete for a full season in the FIA GT Championship. He drove two racing cars: the Porsche 911 Type 997 GT3 RSR and Porsche 911 Type 997 GT3 Cup 3.
2013 O'Young took his famous number 55 BMW around his beloved Macau Grand Prix home track for the tenth time.

Oris already released Darryl O’Young Limited Editions. The watches all own a special feature looking like a wheel rim pattern inspired by the wheels of Darryl’s racing cars such as the Porsche and the BMW.
