Early in his career already regarded by many as a future Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg is the son of Finnish former Formula One world champion Keke Rosberg. Nico’s mother is German and he has chosen to race under the German flag. He started out in karting at the age of 11 in 1996 and rose quickly through the ranks of German Formula BMW, Formula Three Euroseries, and GP2 to join Williams in 2006. In his first year he became the youngest driver in Formula One history to set a fastest lap. He achieved his first podium place in the 2008 Australian Grand Prix, finishing third. In 2009 he decided to leave the Williams Team and to move on to new horizons.

The limited edition watch that Nico Rosberg inspired features an hour scale on the rotating bezel, and a bold number 10 on the dial – a nod to Rosberg’s driver number. The watch was limited to 2,400 units, the cylinder capacity of the V8 Cosworth engine that powered his fastest lap.
